Dear RCCEA Membership:
We are sharing the following information with our Association regarding the recent increase adjustments that were made for the Executive staff in December of 2016. Your Board felt that this was an inequality issue and therefore warranted RCCEA to send a letter to the City Council expressing the apparent lack of recognition for and lack of transparency with our membership regarding the adjustments made.
This letter was written by RCCEA to the members of our City Council. This letter is the response from the City Manager. This is a copy of the November 2016 salary survey results for executive management and RCCEA employees.
The RCCEA Board felt that these correspondences should be shared with the membership. Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to myself or any of your board members.
After reading the correspondence, some of you may now be asking “what’s next?” Your RCCEA Board Members have also asked that question and have decided that the next step will be to meet with The Mayor and Councilmembers individually with the intention to open the discussion and get their thoughts on this issue as it pertains to our current situation as well as with future negotiations.
Thank you for your continued support,
Andy Miller, RCCEA President
